A 5,000-ft2 second-story space with lots of natural light, Studio 34 was designed by KBAS, the Philly/New York architects who did the Pentagon Memorial. We offer spaces for hire at community-friendly rates, including four event spaces and four wellness rooms. Planning an event? Read on…
Lounge
Friendly and flexible, our 1,200-ft2 lounge has two couches, two comfy chairs, and lots of floor cushions that can be set up around a stage that features dimmer lights and a basic sound system. (Lounge events can use the conference room for free, if there’s nothing already scheduled there.)
Studio A
The 1,700-ft2 heart of our space, Studio A has track and overhead lighting, a stereo with iPod hookup, and large doors that can open up to the adjoining lounge. There’s a lovely hardwood floor (no high heels, please, and dancing only in soft-soled shoes).
Studio B
Perfect for smaller classes or rehearsals, the 700-ft2 Studio B has track and overhead lighting on dimmer switches, a stereo with iPod hookup, and another lovely hardwood floor (again, no high heels, and dancing only in soft soles).
Conference Room
Glass doors and a raised floor make this 200-ft2 room semi-private but not soundproof. It seats eight comfortably, 10 in a pinch.
Wellness Rooms
We rent four 120-ft2 wellness rooms in 1-hour blocks to practitioners of massage, reiki, and other healing arts. (Providers and prospective providers: get more info here.)
But wait! There’s more!
Studio 34 has two bathrooms, including one with a shower; two 6-foot folding tables; about 25 chairs; and a utility room with a deep sink. Alas, we do not have a refrigerator, elevator or wheelchair access.
