Childbirth Preparation
Wednesdays in March
3/7, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4
6:30pm – 9:00pm
(Registration ends February 15th)

This Childbirth Preparation Series will take place over the course of four weeks. During that time the group will learn about the natural progression of labor and birth while gaining a deeper understanding of its physiological and emotional aspects. We will give special attention to learning the following: strategies for coping; the role of a support person; the possibility of a cesarean section; and mother and baby adjustments in the postpartum period, including breastfeeding basics. Our overall goal is to provide you with information to minimize your fears and help you make informed decisions toward your ideal birth. This class will be informal, accessible and informative, tailored to the priorities and learning styles of each particular group.
