Breath is fundamental to the practice of yoga and essential for bringing relaxation into our lives. Forrest Yoga classes begin with a focus on deepening the breath, then move into special breathing techniques that lay the foundation for seated poses, abdominal exercises and standing sequences. This 2-hour workshop will highlight the breath as a tool to unlock tight areas, opening the body and the mind for greater relaxation.

Moving from breath work and seated stretches, to abs and other core-building exercises, then flowing into sequences of standing poses, Forrest Yoga invites students to go deeper into their yoga practice, evoking new sensations of the body, mind and spirit. This 2-hour workshop continues the exploration of breath to expand beyond our boundaries—both in our bodies and in life—offering opportunities for physical and emotional release.

The last Forrest Yoga Sunday class of the month celebrates the spirit of Studio 34: a place where people come together to practice yoga, share various healing disciplines, and foster artistic creativity in a myriad of ways. Studio 34 founder Angie Norris combines the coreForrest Yoga practice with inspiring ideas, movement, music and partner exercises to bring a refreshing perspective on yoga as both a personal and shared practice.
