gender < moving: queer bodies/home

An evening of multi-disciplinary work by a cast of trans-identified performers funded by the Leeway Foundation Art and Change Grant. niv Acosta, iele paloumpis, Jai Arun Ravine and Geppetta investigate how their individual experiences as trans and genderqueer artists inform their choreography.  gender < moving: queer bodies/home will show diversity of thought and perspective, highlight trans performers, and challenge transphobia and other forms of discrimination, particularly as it relates to the contemporary dance world. A post-performance discussion will follow.
