Tuesdays, July 21 & 28, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Similar to the Thursday night restorative class, these sessions use longer-held postures to go deeper in the mind and body. A wonderful complement to a more rigorous physical practice or just in its own right, this practice brings incredible therapeutic benefits to all systems of the body and results in an invigoration and vitalization of the most organic nature (see also restorative yoga in class descriptions). All levels more than welcome.

Tuesdays, July 21 & 28, 5:45 to 7:15 p.m.
Summer is the season of movement and exploration. The first hour of class will be geared toward creating lots of heat (and clarifying sweat) in the body. The last half hour will then use this heat to safely move deep into the body through longer held postures, thereby detoxifying and creating spaciousness. Previous yoga experience recommended. Drop-ins welcome.

Dance Party, Vegan Cupcakes, and Midnight Yoga
Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, doors at 7:30 p.m.
Puppet Uprising and Feet Active partner up to present Missoula Oblongata’s new play “The 50 Greatest Ladies and Gentleman” along with the standard dance party/midnight yoga/vegan cupcake extravaganza for two special nights in July.
8:00pm: “The 50 Greatest Ladies and Gentleman” takes place just after the Treaty of Versailles. A veteran who is genetically predisposed to cowardice searches for his brother from whom he’s received a mysterious letter. When the veteran comes upon the town from whence the letter came, he finds that his brother (and the rest of the town) have been caught in a dance mania—a hysterical mass tarantism. With no one else around, the veteran befriends a spider—suspected as the one responsible for the tarantism—and together they go up against the town doctor who believes that breakfast (and everything ordinary, for that matter) is beneath love.
9:30pm: dance party – yay! resident DJs Ginkgo and Ross of Love blend their unique styles to create a diverse upbeat soundscape.
midnight: yoga. this class will be for all levels so everyone is welcome. candlelight and ambient background music complete the atmosphere. Studio 34 has mats and props that are free to use.
plus ~200 vegan cupcakes (each night)! including (refined) sugar free, gluten free, and soy free (if you have a food allergy feel free to send us an email – we’d like to accommodate everyone).
$5 or pay what you can.
